About Me..

I Have a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the University of Wyoming and have been making art for 30+ years. My studio located between Billings and Laurel is a quiet country setting, upstairs in the barn. It is my happy place! (Plus the horses and chickens make it extra special!) I paint in watercolor & oils along with many other mediums. Working in clay is my passion. I offer private & small group classes in my studio, and love to share my love of clay with everyone...
What is Wheel Throwing?

Wheel throwing utilizes a potters wheel to create round forms such as plates, bowls and vases. It is a skill that takes practice & patience.. and as in all clay, there are countless possibilities of things you can create!
What is Hand Building?

Basically, it is all the ways you can manipulate clay without using a potters wheel. Pinch pots, coils & slabs are some of the basic ways to build forms. My studio is well equipped with many tools, including a slab roller and many other hand tools to make textures and assist in making whatever your heart desires..
My Studio

My studio is a magical space facilitating creativity. I have many types and colors of glazes to decorate your pieces. I use a low fire clay and a midfire clay. The low fire type is a great way to start learning how to use clay as it's easiest to manipulate. Each class is dedicated to the student and their goals. Class times are also flexible and tailored to your schedule.
